Ford EcoBoost is what we do every day.

RST Werks runs a workshop full of Focus STs because that is what we drive. Ford’s EcoBoost turbo engines are the platform we know deepest — from the 1.0 three-cylinder through to the 3.5 in a Raptor.

Everything is done to manufacturer specification using genuine OEM parts, and we quote before any work starts, so there are no surprises.

Models we work on

  • Focus

Focus ST (Mk2, Mk3, Mk4), Focus RS Mk3, Focus 1.0 and 1.5 EcoBoost2.0 EcoBoost and 2.3 EcoBoost RS are the cars we know best.

  • Fiesta

    Fiesta ST (Mk7, Mk8), Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost

  • Mustang

Mustang 2.3 EcoBoost, Mustang GT 5.0

  • Trucks & SUVs

F-150 EcoBoost, F-150 Raptor 3.5 EcoBoost, Bronco 2.3 and 2.7 EcoBoost, Ranger, Expedition

  • Crossovers

Edge 2.0 EcoBoost and Edge ST 2.7 EcoBoost, Explorer, Escape / Kuga, Taurus SHO 3.5 EcoBoost

What we see most

Specialising means knowing the failure points before you describe them. These are the jobs that come through the door on Fords week after week.

Carbon build-up on intake valves
Direct-injected EcoBoost engines get no fuel wash over the valves. Rough idle, misfires and lost power follow. We clean the full intake tract and throttle body.
Coolant intrusion on 1.0 EcoBoost
A known weakness on the three-cylinder. Overheating, coolant loss with no visible leak, and white smoke need pressure testing rather than topping up.
Turbo and boost leaks
Split charge pipes, failed diverter valves and boost leaks show up as limp mode and codes like P0299. We pressure test the charge system properly.
Misfires under boost
Worn plugs and tired coils show up first under load on a tuned EcoBoost. P0300 to P0304 are among the most common codes we read.
RS and ST clutch wear
Hard-driven Focus RS and ST cars in Dubai heat wear clutches early. We diagnose slip before it takes the flywheel with it.
Heat-soaked intercoolers
Stock intercoolers struggle in UAE summer, pulling timing and power. An uprated front-mount keeps intake temperatures under control.

Ford questions

What is the service interval on a Ford?
Ford recommends 10,000 KM for most models. Many of our customers on tuned or hard-driven EcoBoost cars prefer a shorter oil interval, particularly through the Dubai summer.
How long does a Ford service take?
Minor and major services are usually finished the same day. Book ahead so we can reserve a bay.
Do you use genuine Ford parts?
Yes. We use genuine OEM parts sourced from the dealership or authorised distributors, unless you specifically ask for an aftermarket performance part.
Can you tune my EcoBoost?
Yes. We carry out ECU tuning in house, and supply and fit performance hardware — intakes, downpipes, intercoolers — alongside carbon cleaning. We do not have our own dyno, so dyno runs are done at a partner facility.
Will servicing here affect my warranty?
Servicing at an independent workshop to manufacturer specification with genuine parts should not void your warranty. We keep full records of every service we carry out.
