P0100
Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Malfunction
The ECU detects a general electrical malfunction in the mass air flow (MAF) sensor circuit. The signal is missing, out of plausible range, or the wiring shows continuity issues. Used as a generic fault when no more specific MAF code applies.
- Check engine light: Yes
- Emissions related: Yes
- Repair difficulty: easy
What we see in the workshop
ON FORD ECOBOOST
Mass airflow circuit faults on EcoBoost engines are often wiring or connector related, particularly on cars with aftermarket intakes.
Common causes
Ordered by how often each turns out to be the cause.
