What we see in the workshop
ON FORD ECOBOOST
Over-advanced cam timing on a Ti-VCT engine is very often oil-related — wrong grade, overdue service, or a blocked VCT solenoid screen. We check the solenoid and oil condition first.
ON ALFA ROMEO
A classic MultiAir complaint. Cold-start rattle with this code usually means the variator or chain needs attention, not just a solenoid clean.
